So, how did you do Christmas week? As I've mentioned before, I find Christmas more challenging, when it comes to food, than Thanksgiving because, where Thanksgiving is one day focused on food, Christmas stretches out to a full week or more.
I started out doing really well on my goals of pre-Christmas moderation and extra activity. I wound up not working out on Christmas Eve, as planned, and I was really inactive on Christmas Day. For the most part, I made decent food choices and didn't indulge in too many treats -- some, but not excessive, I don't think.
So? My results? I lost the 1.2 lbs. that I gained last week. I am exactly where I was week before last. Hey, I'll take it! I'm excited that the scale is moving in the right direction again and, with Christmas food temptations behind me, I can focus on moving forward.
I decided to wait until January 3 to start Jillian Michael and Self's Jump Start Diet in order to make it an even four weeks January thing, so, if you'd like to join me, I'd love the support.
Now, it's your turn! How did you do on the scales this week?
