Okay, so I've been really busy since yesterday afternoon and haven't had a chance to post NSV Saturday...but, better late than never right? This is your chance to share those weight-loss victories that occurred somewhere besides the scale. Did you put on a smaller size jeans this week? Exercise every day? Eat more fruits and veggies? Share what's made you proud of you this week.
I had one just this morning. Remember when I said that I didn't really like Jillian Michael's 30-Day Shred DVD? Well, I had loaned it to a friend and I got it back last night. I decided to try it again this morning and see if I still found it as difficult since I've been working out for awhile. I actually liked it! I did modify the jumping jacks (hey, this is a lot of weight to jump jacks with!) and the jumping rope, but I was able to do everything else and it wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered it being. I'm going to add it to my workout line-up.
I already mentioned this with my weekly weigh-in, but I have a pair of jeans that I was wearing several weeks ago that is now too big. Too big as in, I had to change into a different pair of jeans because these were getting on my nerves so bad, pulling them up constantly.
Brianna, my 14-year-old, has joined me at the gym this week. She was sore, but she went with me Tuesday and Thursday night and plans to continue going. It's very exciting and encouraging to see my positive changes affecting my kids so positively. It makes me wish I'd made these changes years ago.
